Exciting Announcement!

Coquitlam Little League and its Board are very excited to announce the hiring of Moto Mukai in the role of “Coach & Player Development Technical Director” in 2024!

CLL and its Board of Directors have made an exciting long-term commitment to raise our level of play, ON & OFF the field, for many years to come!

Our organization has made the Development of our Players & Coaches our number one priority during this offseason. The hiring of Moto is just one of the many exciting moves we are undertaking to exceed our desired goals as a league.

Moto is excited for the opportunity to bring his passion and experience to assist with CLL’s Player Development program. He has been around baseball his whole life, playing competitively throughout high school in BC and a year of university baseball in Tokyo, Japan.

He coached his 3 children throughout Little League, which culminated in the honour of representing Team Canada at the Intermediate World Series in 2023 as the team's Head Coach.

Moto also currently serves as Program Director for T21 Performance (Travail Baseball) in addition to having been an active volunteer coach and administrator in the youth baseball community for over a decade.
